Refund & Returns Policy
1. Returns Period & Eligibility
At Trenchers.net, we offer a 30-day return window for machinery and attachments. To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The equipment must be in its original, unused condition with zero operating hours on the meter.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging with all manuals, tools, and accessories included.
- Returns are only accepted for machines dispatched from our California warehouse to addresses within the contiguous USA.
2. Shipping & Freight Costs
Because heavy machinery requires specialized commercial transport, returns are subject to the following logistical terms:
- Outbound Freight: Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
- Return Freight: The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return freight to our California facility. All returns must be shipped via a professional LTL or flatbed carrier.
⚠️ Restocking Fee
A standard 20% restocking fee applies to all returned heavy equipment to cover the costs of technical inspection, staging, and administrative processing at our warehouse.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:
- Used equipment or machines with recorded operating hours.
- Standard wear parts including trencher chains, digging teeth, and sprockets.
- Custom-ordered attachments or modified machinery.
4. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected at our California warehouse, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund (minus the restocking fee and original shipping) will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
